Young Hearts, Big Impact: Local Students and Animal Lovers Rally for Critter Care Wildlife Society!

Neilson Grove Elementary's Grade 6 Green Team: Compassion for Wildlife

The Grade 6 Green Team members at Neilson Grove Elementary in Delta are truly a force of nature when it comes to helping animals in need. Their passion and dedication shone brightly this year as they crafted beautiful beaded bracelets and bookmarks to sell at their Spring Fair in May. The response was overwhelming, prompting them to continue the sales until the end of the school year. With hearts full of kindness, they donated all the proceeds to the Critter Care Wildlife Society, making a significant impact on wildlife rehabilitation.

Small Gestures Lead to Big Change

Adams Road Elementary students also proved that small gestures can lead to big change. With creativity and love for our furry friends, they whipped up homemade dog treats and sold them to their school community. The proceeds from this heartwarming initiative were generously directed to Critter Care Wildlife Society. In a special visit, Emma, along with Tabitha, and Intern Ben, accompanied by the adorable Cruella, our resident skunks, expressed their gratitude to the students, touching their hearts in the process.

This Remarkable Teen-Ager Shows His Love for Animals

Meet Carson, a remarkable 14-year-old animal enthusiast who embodies the spirit of community giving. Driven by his love for animals, he took it upon himself to make a difference and chose Critter Care Wildlife Society as his cause. With determination, Carson went door to door, collecting bottles, cans, and flannel cloths from friends, family, and neighbors. His efforts paid off, yielding over 600 recyclables and several bags of linens. When he finally delivered his heartwarming donation, he was rewarded with a visit from the enchanting Tabitha and adorable Cruella, cementing the bond between young hearts and the wildlife they strive to protect.

At Critter Care Wildlife Society, we are deeply touched by the support from our local communities and are inspired to continue our mission of rehabilitating and preserving wildlife. Together, we can create a brighter future for our furry friends and the natural world they call home. Thank you, Neilson Grove Elementary, Adams Road Elementary, Carson, and all the wonderful supporters who make our work possible!
