Lynda Brown

Vice President

Growing up in South Burnaby on almost an acre of uncleared land, Lynda was always bringing some kind of animal home.

Later, spending 4 ½ years in a First Nations village up north, she was brought even closer to the animals and birds of that world and their relationship to the First Nations peoples.

Moving to Surrey in 1976, Lynda’s property sees many visitors: opossums, squirrels, raccoons and skunks but it was an injured squirrel that brought her to Critter Care in 2011 and she has been there ever since.

Now retired, she very much enjoys her 2 children and their partners and her 3 grand-children. Lynda is the Nana that wakes them up in the middle of the night to watch the baby raccoons playing on the lawn.
